PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)

JERP participates in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) as part of our commitment to preserving scholarly content. The PKP PN is a decentralized archiving system that leverages the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) software to create a distributed network of preservation nodes. These nodes are hosted by a global network of libraries and institutions, providing a robust and secure means of archiving the journal's content. The PKP PN ensures that multiple copies of our content are stored in geographically dispersed locations, protecting against data loss and ensuring our articles remain accessible.

The PKP PN operates on the principle of redundancy, whereby multiple copies of the journal's content are continuously and rigorously monitored and updated. This proactive approach ensures that our content is protected against data corruption or loss. In the unlikely event that JERP ceases publication or experiences technical difficulties, the PKP PN will provide uninterrupted access to our content through its network of preservation nodes.
