Journal of Educational Research and Practice (JERP) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Yayasan Centre for Studying and Milieu Development of Indonesia (CESMiD) in collaboration with Perkumpulan Dosen Tarbiyah Islam Indonesia (PDTII). The journal applies a double-anonymous peer review process and publishes three issues annually, in March, July, and November. JERP is published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) and is registered with DOI prefix 10.70376/jerp, Online ISSN 3062-7605, and Print ISSN 3062-7613.

JERP publishes scholarly work on education, pedagogy, and learning practices in diverse educational, cultural, religious, community, and digital contexts. The journal welcomes studies related to equity in education, culturally responsive pedagogy, culture, religion and local knowledge, community-engaged learning, sustainable educational development, and ethical digital transformation. It also welcomes manuscripts that examine how educational policies, institutions, curricula, assessment practices, leadership, technologies, and classroom pedagogies respond to learner diversity, local contexts, and social change, including studies situated in Indonesia, Southeast Asia, and the Global South.

Guidance on Ethical Use of AI

Dear Authors,

Editorial Team of Journal of Educational Research and Practice (JERP) would like to inform all authors about the importance of adhering to ethical standards in the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in scholarly publishing.

In response to the increasing use of AI tools in research and manuscript preparation, authors are required to follow responsible and transparent practices to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and credibility of their work. AI tools may be used in a limited capacity, such as supporting data analysis and improving language clarity. However, the use of AI to generate full manuscripts, create visual materials (including images, figures, or videos), or be listed as an author is strictly prohibited.

This issue covers a broad range of educational topics, including Islamic education policies, the effects of animation-based instruction on student achievement, curriculum reforms in Turkey, and the operationalization of moral reasoning in Islamic education. The contributions from diverse cultural and educational contexts provide insights into various aspects of educational research and practice.
